On Saturday 20th June at 4.45pm in St John’s Church (betwixt Newton Road and Ashburton Road), Bovey Tracey, TQ13 9BD, St Michael’s Choir is pleased to be singing Choral Evensong with the Exeter Branch of the Prayer Book Society.

Music will include the Purcell-like Reading Responses, the Short Service Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis by Thomas Weelkes, and the Anthem “Exsultate justi in Domino” by Ludovico di Viadana (1560-1627), a lively setting of Psalm 33 vv1-3. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; for it becometh well the just to be thankful.

This follows the PBS AGM at 2pm in the Wickham Hall opposite at which the Bishop of Exeter, Rt Revd Robert Atwell, will be their guest speaker..
