St Michael’s Lecture – A Personal Return to Death

Hosted by: St Michael's Lecture - Dr David Beadle

Wednesday 25th April at 7.30pm, St Michael’s Lecture by Dr David Beadle, Lecture Series organiser, on “A personal return to Death”.

Three and a half years ago, David gave a St Michael’s Lecture outlining some academic ideas about the relationships between life and death, in the Bible and in modern Europe.

The recent death of his Grandmother, with whom he was very close, has made him reassess the matter in a very personal way. Drawing on personal experience and his poetry, as well as on academic sources, he will explore again the relationships between life and death.

Everyone, of any faith or none, is warmly welcomed to the St Michael’s Lectures and admission is FREE (with a voluntary retiring collection).

Lectures are followed by discussion and light refreshments, and are held in St. Michael’s Church.  For further information, or to discuss disabled access, contact the Lectures’ team at stmichaelslectures@outlook.com  or  dnbeadle@gmail.com
