Past Lectures in 2018.

Wednesday 25th April at 7.30pm, St Michael’s Lecture by Dr David Beadle, Lecture Series organiser, on “A personal return to Death”. Three and a half years ago, David gave a St Michael’s Lecture outlining some academic ideas about the relationships between life and death, in the Bible and in modern Europe. The recent death of his Grandmother, with whom he was very close, has made him reassess the matter in a very personal way. Drawing on personal experience and his poetry, as well as on academic sources, he will explore again the relationships between life and death.
