Music Team
The music team at St Michael’s comprises an inspiring and committed group of musicians, who are also variously composers, arrangers, recitalists and producers.
Music has always been integral to the life of St Michael’s Mount Dinham. The very fabric and design of the church building is a splendid example of the tradition of sacred architecture created with an exemplary acoustic for music in mind, to elevate the experience of all those who enter here.
The current team includes Matt Clark, organist of St Michael’s and acting Director of Music; Peter Allsop, Nigel Browne, Neil Page and Richard Stephens.
The music team and choir also welcomes associate musicians for special services and events, who augment the musical experience and continuing professional development of the choir. In 2024 these have included tenor soloists and conductors Michael Graham and Matthew Jeffrey, baritone soloist and conductor Joe Ward, and Timothy Noon, Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral.
