Cathedral – Thy Kingdom Come

Hosted by: Diocese of Exeter

Pentecost Sunday 9th June 2019 from 6.30pm in Exeter Cathedral.

In response to the Archbishops’ Call “#ThyKingdom_Come” to pray for better witness & evangelism in our nation, the parishes of the Diocese of Exeter are invited to join Bishop Sarah in prayer at Exeter Cathedral.  Not much detail yet, but see link on Diocesan website…

…last year’s was enriching and inspiring -  if you can cope with ‘Worship Songs’ and a Band. The ‘Interval’ journey around the Cathedral to praying reflectively using specially created prayers spaces – ranging from pebbles & tea-lights, through social action to icons & anointing – was more interesting and successful. There’s also a keynote message or Sermon in old money..

Sorry – I’m not selling this very well – go and make up your own mind if you have the time.

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven ….”
