Recitals@StMichael’s: Alison Smith

Friday 8th May we welcome Alison Smith, Plymouth-based, internationally acclaimed classical guitarist.

Alison Smith is a highly acclaimed, British born classical guitarist, who has been described as one of the most exciting and lyrical guitarists to emerge in recent years. She delights audiences with her fluid technique and expressive playing, performing nationwide and in Europe. Alison trained at Trinity College of Music, London, and taught at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, before returning to Devon where she now tutors classical guitar at the University of Plymouth. She has performed at numerous classical guitar festivals, and has recorded two CD albums. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this international guitarist perform an exciting and appealing programme as part of the Recitals@StMichael’s series.
