Wednesday 27th April at 7.30pm, St Michael’s Lectures are delighted to welcome Rt Revd Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of Crediton, to talk on the topic “Should the Church be involved in the Health of our Communities?”
Continuing our theme of religious reflection on current social concerns, Bishop Sarah is ideally placed to talk on Church, Health and Communities. Prior to Ordination in 2001 and ministry in the Church of England, Sarah Mullally worked in Nursing in the NHS, holding the position of Government Chief Nursing Officer from 1999-2004. She was consecrated bishop by Archbishop Justin Welby in Canterbury Cathedral on 22 July 2015, the Feast of St Mary Magdalene.
Everyone is warmly welcomed to the St Michael’s Lectures and admission is FREE (with a voluntary retiring collection). They are followed by discussion and light refreshments, and are held in St. Michael’s Church.
