On Saturday 20th September at 1:30pm, the Sixteen offers a rare and rewarding opportunity for keen amateur singers to explore a variety of music inspired by The Sixteen’s own Choral Pilgrimage.
“In an age of resurgent conflict and frenetic demands on our attention, our 2025 Choral Pilgrimage: Angel of Peace offers a slice of tranquillity in many forms courtesy of luminous, purifying music traversing six centuries.”
This year’s pilgrimage shares a programme for inner peace, combining music by Hildegard, Arvo Pärt, Will Todd and Anna Clyne.
