Readings
A Church of England wedding must have at least one reading from the Bible and you can also include other readings or poems. Choosing your readings is one of the ways a wedding can be made really personal. Popular Bible passages are given on this Church of England web page. A member of clergy can also help with choosing alternative readings.

Music
St Michael’s has a wonderful acoustic, especially choral music. St Michael’s also has a fine Victorian pipe organ, and a splendid grand piano which can also be used for wedding music. Both instruments are well maintained and tuned. Couples are encouraged to talk with the Music Team to curate the music for their wedding.
